HOUSING Your chicks should be in a dry and secure area. Be careful to keep dogs and cats away for the chicks safety. Wood shavings make good bedding. Bare floors and newspapers are too slick and the chicks may develop legs problems. Paper shavings do not work well for poultry.
TEMPERATURE The right temperature is very important to your chicks. When they are a week old the temperature should be kept between 90-95 F. |
